We are currently seeking an Automation Engineer who is willing to learn or has experience in designing and developing control systems and PLC programming to join our Automation Team, part of our Systems Department in Delft, the Netherlands. Your role Part of a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, you design, develop, and implement control systems using our inhouse developed framework. You develop PLC software for new engineering solutions and processes that advance the capabilities, performance and efficiency of our record-breaking vessels and equipment. As Automation Software Engineer, you: - Make a functional design for the automation of our systems; - Prepare analyses, design calculations, parameters, and sketches for new systems; - Program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems; - Contribute to the development of our framework tooling; - Evaluate the capabilities of existing systems and tools based on current demands; - Write and execute test plans for system implementation and commissioning of new equipment; - Provide engineering support to end users as needed.
