Every day, you’ll tackle technically complex repairs, working with both mechanical and electronic challenges. Your tasks include repairing damage to gasoline, diesel, and electric cars, assembling and disassembling parts like suspensions, lighting, and body components, and working on advanced systems such as ADAS, cameras, and sensors. You will also read out vehicle data and make diagnoses. Your work ensures that cars are fully safe to hit the road again after an accident. As an auto damage technician, you’ll get the chance to work with the latest tools and technologies. You’ll see a wide variety of damage types—no two days are the same.
