As an EWIS Components assemblies and Testing engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development and validation & verification activities on Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) Components and Constructions (components assemblies). GKN-Fokker Elmo is expanding their knowledge in the area of high voltage/high power EWIS for (hybrid) electric aircraft applications. You will report to the Engineering Team Lead (ETL) of the EWIS Components & Electronics (ECE) design group within Engineering. This group consists of 20-25 (Senior) Engineers. The place of work will at the GKN-Fokker Elmo Head Quarters in Papendrecht, The Netherlands. Tasks - Working on different aircraft projects; - Aerospace Components (Parts and Materials) specifications; - EWIS (mechanical) construction design; - High voltage/ high power EWIS design incl. multiphysics; - EWIS Components- and Construction Validation & Verification processes; - EWIS environmental testing; - Root cause analysis/ customer technical issue solving; - Design processes and methods/standards; - Configuration management process.
