Assistant Hospitality Manager Apply directly We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Hospitality Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Hospitality Manager in the daily management of hospitality activities, ensuring an excellent customer experience and maintaining high quality standards. You will be responsible for the smooth running of operational processes and motivating the team. This role offers a great opportunity for candidates with experience in hospitality and management. You will in principle perform this role on-site, you will work approximately 2 shifts per week as day manager within the operations team to provide direction, guidance, and to facilitate a good distribution of days in the schedule. What will you do? • Supporting the Hospitality Manager in organising and coordinating daily operations • Management of social media, reservation system and the website, design of special menus and dining cards. This where necessary in collaboration with our media company. • Conducting commercial conversations with (prospective) guests, creating quotes, HR and administration events and invoicing • Supervising restaurant management, guiding, training and leading the daily management team. • Overseeing hotel management and directing the small housekeeping team • Ensuring a good customer experience by providing excellent service and hospitality, and involving team members in this. • Ensuring HACCP standards are maintained and compliance with food safety regulations • Assisting with the planning and execution of events such as special occasions, themed evenings, weddings, etc. • Support with staff planning, training and leadership within the team • Reply to emails and create spreadsheets Who are you? • Demonstrable experience in the hospitality industry • Knowledge of HACCP and culinary experience is desired • Strong leadership and organisational skills • Good communication skills in Dutch and English; knowledge of additional languages such as German is a plus • Experience in food service, catering or banqueting is an advantage • Flexible deployment • Proactive attitude, customer focus, and team player mentality • Positive attitude and demeanour What do we offer you?
