As an Assembly Mechanic at Willems Baling Equipment, you will work on assembling complete packaging machines that are deployed worldwide. At our location in Hapert, you and your colleagues will build high-quality installations and ensure that the machines function perfectly before they are shipped to the client. Vacancy in short: • As an Assembly Mechanic, you assemble and install complete machines at our location in Hapert; • You work with various technologies, including electrical engineering, pneumatics, and hydraulics; • You will receive a competitive salary that matches your knowledge and experience, including 25 vacation days and 13 ADV (scheduled work-time reduction) days; • You test machines and verify that everything functions correctly before they are shipped to the client; • You have a technical degree or experience in a similar role, along with an affinity for machine building. What will you do as an Assembly Mechanic? In the role of Assembly Mechanic, you will work on assembling and building complete machines and installations. Guided by technical drawings and work instructions, you will ensure that all components are correctly mounted and adjusted. You will primarily work at our location in Hapert, though you may occasionally support on-site installations or assembly at client locations both nationally and internationally. Your responsibilities include: • Assembling machines according to technical drawings and work instructions; • Mounting and adjusting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components; • Testing machines and verifying that everything functions correctly; • Identifying errors or areas of improvement in the assembly process; • Actively thinking along about more efficient assembly methods and technical solutions. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that every machine is delivered fully completed and reliable. What do you bring as an Assembly Mechanic? You have a passion for technology and love working with your hands on complex machinery. You think practically, work accurately, and enjoy solving technical challenges. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following: • Some experience in a similar role OR a completed technical or mechatronics degree; • Affinity with machine building and technical installations; • Technical insight and a solution-oriented work attitude; • The ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team; • Good command of both Dutch and English.
