COMPANY With a production of approximately 6 million bicycles per year, 16,000 employees and dozens offactories - two of which are in Europe - this customer in Lelystad is by far the largest producer of bicycles in the world. And all those bicycles are sold in almost every local market through a global sales network. Our customer is a true “total supplier”. This means that they develop many different mobility products, such as racing bicycles, mountain bikes, city and touring bicycles and, of course, the current street scene: electric bicycles. JOB REQUIREMENTS  In the position of assembly production employee, it is important that you are flexibly available. You work from Monday until Friday from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm. During busy peaks you are expected to be flexible enough to work overtime on Mondays and/or Wednesdays and possibly Saturday mornings. It is also important that you have experience in production or assembly. Because you are on your feet a lot, it is important that you are in good physical condition. You often work with your hands to assemble bicycle parts. It is important that you have technical insight. In other words: you know how to handle tools and use them safely. Other requirements for this position are: - Command of the English language - Have your own transport (location is accessible by public transport) You start in the morning with a cup of coffee or tea in the canteen. Is it 7am? The production process starts! Together with the colleagues in your line, you will first be addressed by the line manager about the details of that day. After this, you walk to your workplace and the production process begins on the assembly line. Each colleague has their own part to mount on the bicycle.
