SketchUp Draftsman / Project Coordinator
Will you help us build our design quality?
SketchUp Draftsman | Project Manager, Office & Interior Design (32 to 40 hours)
We work without markups or surcharges and stand by our clients. Using our proven method, we keep projects on schedule, within budget, and at the expected quality level.
What are you going to do?
You will start in this role as an Interior Designer. You will ensure that designs are feasible and that all information is accurate. Using the design model as a basis, you will carefully work out the details, materials, and specifications so that everyone is working with the same, accurate information.
You will work closely with the Interior Designer, Project Draftsman, and Project Manager. In SketchUp, you will build the project model in a logical and structured manner. You will then translate this into clear construction drawings in LayOut.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Creating and managing project models in SketchUp during Concept Design and Construction Design
• Developing Construction Drawings in SketchUp LayOut
• Adding technical specifications, materials, and product information to the construction drawings
• Checking drawings for completeness and feasibility
Within about 9 to 12 months, this role will evolve into that of a Project Manager. Because you have a solid understanding of the design and technical details, you will then be able to actively participate in projects and contribute to:
• Creating and Managing Construction Drawings
• Managing and organizing project information
• Attending and taking minutes at project meetings and construction meetings
• Assisting with project reporting, project planning, and project costing
This way, your role will evolve from technical implementation to project management.
This is who you are and what you can do:
• You must have at least a Level 4 vocational education (MBO4) qualification
• You'll have no trouble working with groups, components, scenes, and structure in SketchUp
• You have knowledge of finishing materials, interior design materials, and products
• You work accurately and thoroughly
• You communicate clearly and coordinate information effectively with your colleagues
• You take the initiative and think ahead
• You'll feel right at home in an ambitious team clear goals
The Interior Designer translates the client's identity into a concept and design. A Project Draftsman is an experienced draftsman who is closely involved in the project. In both roles, you'll receive all the necessary information and work closely together to develop designs and, later on, the technical drawings.
The Project Manager oversees the project on behalf of the client and manages the schedule, budget, and quality. The drawings and information you prepare serve as an important basis for discussions with clients and suppliers.
In practical terms, this means that you regularly check in with the designer about the design, ask questions when information is missing, and discuss your drawings with the Project Manager so that everyone is working with the same, accurate information.
Precisely because the drawings and information in GRIP are put together so carefully, projects can be carried out smoothly. Your work thus forms an important foundation for an implementation that stays on track in terms of schedule, budget, and quality.
We offer:
• An ambitious and professional team a clear vision
• Starting salary between €2,600 and €2,800
• A role where you can grow professionally, with a training budget
• A clear career path from Interior Designer to Project Manager
• Close collaboration with the interior designer, architectural drafter, and project manager
• Room to take responsibility
• A workweek of 32 to 40 hours
Every practical solution stems from creativity. That's how we surprise our clients with materials, colors, and products they wouldn't have thought of on their own. We're known for ensuring that our designs take quality, budget, and scheduling into account. Together, we make the world a little more beautiful-for our clients and for ourselves.
