At Flikweert Vision, we are looking for a university of applied sciences intern to research the product-friendliness of our machines. Our machines transport and sort potatoes and onions. The central question within this internship is: How can product friendliness be further improved? You are undertaking a practical assignment at HBO (higher professional education) level, combining research with testing, analysis, and brainstorming potential improvements. About Flikweert Vision Flikweert Vision specialises in optical sorting technology for potatoes and onions. We are growing internationally and are building smart, innovative machines that contribute to a more efficient sorting process. Within our organisation, we work with short communication lines, a wealth of technical knowledge and the scope to contribute ideas and take initiative. Your role As an intern, you will be part of the Product Specialists department. This department is concerned with the operation, application and performance of our machines. You will work on a specific research assignment concerning product friendliness: what happens to potatoes and onions during transport and sorting by our machines, and which factors influence potential product damage? You map out the process, carry out observations and measurements, and translate your findings into practical insights. You will collaborate with Product Specialists and, where necessary, with colleagues from Engineering, Production, Service, and Software & AI.
